Savannah

Savannah extends in many directions on the map, and what is known as Savannah includes both incorporated areas and unincorporated areas. There are even some areas that have been annexed by the City of Savannah that one would not expect; this includes Savannah Highlands that is North of Pooler and Bradley Pointe that is Northeast of Richmond Hill. Savannah includes other areas that are in other categories, but we have separated out the areas based on Local terminology. For this category, we have included the densely populated areas of the main part of Savannah, mostly located South of Downtown. What tourists think is Savannah, is actually what Locals call Downtown; as most of the shopping areas like malls, grocery stores, Hospitals, professional businesses, etc. are not Located downtown but are due South on Abercorn about 5 miles. Everyone has a different definition of Midtown in Savannah, so beyond the limits of Ardsley Park Areas, we defined Midtown Central so you would know the area was closer to central Savannah than to Downtown.
